Our quartet of readers from the East Rancho Dominguez Library in Compton love books! But what happens if your brain mixes up letters and you're dyslexic and reading is a complete mystery? That's the challenge faced by the heroine in "Fish in a Tree" by Lynda Mullaly Hunt. Hunt says she was one of those kids whose reading life was saved by a very special teacher. Actress Mimi Kennedy (Mom, Midnight in Paris, Dharma & Greg) is our celebrity reader.

Mimi Kennedy is trying to convert her furry friend Hugo to a "Jane Eyre" lover.
