QR codes are a great way to use tablets as gateways to reading. Just print out the QR codes, then cut and paste the appropriate code on the back or spine of a book on your library shelf. Readers point a QR reader at the code and are taken to the Book Club for Kids episode related to the book. They can listen to the discussion, then read the book themselves to see if they agree with the kids on the show. This suggestion came librarians in Oregon and Illinois. Thank you!
